Christmas 2010

Christmas has once again come and gone. We have once again made many happy memories this holiday season. We are able to attend 3 family gatherings, enjoy 2 programs where the birth of Jesus Christ was clearly brought out and the reason for His coming and we spent time at home with our children doing the traditional things.
The weather was simply indescribable this Christmas. The beauty was breath taking with the lovely hoarfrost on the trees. It was prettier than any decorations that we could hang on any tree. The temperatures were so mild that it was a pleasure to be outside.
Here are a few of the pictures that were taken over the Christmas holidays. It seems like it is hard to get out of the holiday mode. But now it is time to get back to a routine, which will be good for all of us.
Outdoor fun. Fort digging and tubing.

We did Christmas box. Everyone had to try and guess who had his name.

Randy trying out their new toy in the snow.
Andrew with Uncle Ryan.
Rita
Raechelle helping AJ open his gift. She was happy to have had his name.
Papa and Mama enjoying some time with Andy.
We had fun trying to get a hat for everyone. So here we are : )
Our traditional rice crispy tree we build, decorate and then devour
Great papa with Andrew.
Andy and Jelena. Born one day apart.
WE have once again been so blessed for all that our Heavenly has given to us by sending His only son to be the Saviour of the world. Now we need to get busy and spread this wonderful news to the lost and ones that are searching for something that brings everlasting joy.

Christ our Saviour is born!!

And so it was that while they were there the days were acocmplised that she should be delivered.

And she brought forth her first born son,and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the Inn.

And the angel said unto them,Fear not,for behold I bring you GOOD tidings of GREAT JOY which shall be to ALL people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you,you will find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying GLORY to God in the highest and on earth PEACE GOODWILL toward men.

And they came with haste and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

Memories Monday

Well I still don't have my camera and I do know that our blog is pretty boring So I figured I'd do a "Memories" post from in the summer while we were experiencing some rather hot weather.
Remember.
That's pretty much all that we can do considering we are enjoying the wonderful weather of about
-30 with the wind chill :)
(And it's not even that windy yet :)
So any way here are some pictures of a week in the summer where it was +35 Celsius and we were enjoying the heat :)

We don't have air conditioning so we mostly just sat around taking it easy.

Or we'd go swimming in our lake to cool off just for abit.
so for now we'll stay warm through the winter, play LOTS of hockey, look forward to Christmas and praise God for all the beauty He's given us through every season!!
