Happy Birthday Ruth

Amongst the business of harvest last week we celebrated the birthday of our youngest daughter,Ruth. She is now an eleven year old. Time does not seem to stop and give us a break. We just have to try and keep up with our children growing up so very fast. To say that our youngest daughter is already eleven seems to sounds so grown up already.

Ruth you have been such a joy to have around. You take the time to enjoy the nature and beauty around you. So often in the business of life we fail to realize the "little things" in life. Ruth would be the person to come to me and make me aware of the little observations that she notices. She would be the one to see a little kitten having a special need or watches the garden and would see the first ripe vegetables while we are sometimes to busy to see the small hidden things that make life interesting and educational.

Ruth has also grown to be so responsible in the last year. I appreciate her help in the kitchen very much. We have enjoyed the meals that she prepares with the help of some of us older ones. Thanks so much for what you do and who you are,Ruth. We love you lots !!

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have my being.

Psalm 146:2

It's Harvest Time!!

Well actually it has been harvest time for a while now but I just haven't gotten around to doing a post about it,so now that I've got time I'll show you some of the pictures that I've got.

Enjoy!

My lil' sis Rita on the big green tractor.

This was my Mom driving the big truck.

Supper on the field is always so much fun and everyone has a great time!!

One evening while we were combining we saw a moose running through our field,it's not something we see often so it was pretty neat.
Sorry the pictures are not very good,he was standing far of already and it was kinda getting dark.
My favorite time of year and my favorite time of the day when you get a beautiful picture with the sun setting and the combines still going.
O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvellous things,His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory.
Psalm 98:1

Happy Birthday Raymond

July 12 th which is long past but not forgotten we celebrated Raymond's 9 th birthday. Raymond we are so glad to have you in our family. It is a joy to have you around. Your character is one of love, gratitude and affection. You are one person that I can send on an errand and you will be very quick to respond to your mother in saying"Yes Mam". You are a grateful person and are ready with a thank you very easy. You are also the one to be sure to say good bye to Mom and Dad when they leave and a hug, kiss and " I love you "are always in order before you go to bed. We love your ready smile and your love for everyone in the family.

Raymond has an interest in using the camera and the following pictures are ones that he took.

This one is almost like a mystery picture. Can you guess what he took a picture of here?

Blessed is everyone that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be,and it shall be well with thee. Psalm 128:1&2
