Please Pray

As we see the sunrise is not said that we will see it set. This is the truth for Our son Ryan's boss. They were at a job sight this morning when Jake fell off a 20 foot wall and is now gone to be with the Lord. For Jake he has met his master and is safe in the arms of Jesus. But he has left behind a family who dearly loved him. They will need our prayers in the coming days. I just posted this to ask for prayer support for this grieving family.

Once again we see the brevity of our life. A few nights ago at some tent meetings we were reminded of this. The speaker talked about appointments and how we all make them and sometimes we even need to cancel them. But he also said that there is one appointment that we don't make ourselves but we will always keep that appointment,no matter what. That is the appointment that we will one day meet our maker face to face and stand before the judgement throne. This appointment we will never be able to avoid or cancel. The question is "Are you ready for this very important appointment?" This is the day of grace. Tomorrow may be to late. So come to the Saviour today,He doesn't want any to perish.

Peace I leave with you,my peace I give unto you : not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

Happy Birthday Reuben

One year into his teen years! Such a big help to his father. Reuben has so often been a right hand to his Dad. With farming being right up Ben's alley,he works along side his Dad many hours of each day. This is such good training for teenage boys and I am so grateful that Reuben has this wonderful opportunity. So much can be taught by following and seeing Dad do things.

When it comes to cattle farming Reuben has had lots of experience. Calving season keeps him on his lookout for any problem births. This spring has been super busy for him when we had 14 cows in our herd who decided to have twins. There was lots of action and little calves to get trained to bottle feeding. This was also Reuben's first year that he raised and trained a 4-H calf. It was a wonderful experience for him and he learned alot about training, grooming and feeding his calf and on sale day to be able to lead his calf around the ring.

Reuben we are glad you are in our family. You always have a word of advise in the farming end of the deal. You give Dad peace of mind with your cattle checking abilities.

We pray that you will let God take control of your future and grow to be a Godly man.

Thou therefore,my son,be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1

Raymond's 10th Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated a very special boy's birthday. Raymond was blessed with a beautiful day and appreciated every minute of it! He got his gifts in the morning,a pool he's sharing with the other summer birthday children, cowboy boots,a game and some clothes. He got a bike horn from his little brother so the two boys had fun riding their bikes! On birthdays the children are exempt from some of the regular chores they do,this makes them feel special. Sister Raechelle did a photo shoot. For supper we had invited some cousins. He requested chili and fries for the meal. Sister Rita made a Canucks birthday cake for him. After the meal they enjoyed a football game and later on they played in the pool :)

Pretty good job cutting you cake boy!

Raymond we are so happy that you are part of our family. You are there with a willing hand to help, your smile brightens our day,you are a sweet companion to your little brother, you are always thankful for what you have and never fail to acknowledge that to your family and friends. We pray God's richest blessings upon you.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;in honour preferring one another.

Romans 12:10
