On The Farm

Here are a few pictures of some of the animals that we have on our yard.

Just a little while back we had a cat who had 5 cute little kittens, now they are big enough to get out side and explore and it is so cute to watch them.

Cock A Doodle Doo there's our wake up call :)

One of our sheep.

"Smurf" our bunny.

Mother hen and her ten little chicks.

This hen has taught me a lesson in life that we so often take so for granted. If you know the habit of a chicken it will always find a high place to roost for the night. As they can't see in the dark and are a perfect target for any skunk prowling along at night. But this hen with her little brood stays on the ground and finds a place she can go under cover with her family and spends the night in hope of no predators coming and devouring her and the little ones. This is how our heavenly Father takes us under His wings and keeps us safe. So often we are not awear of the dangers that lingers around us but are covered by His lovely and protecting hands. Thank you Father for your loving kindness to us.

Lots of beautiful pictures, the kitten ones are so cute! I'm sure that by next year Andy will be keeping all the animals busy whenever we come over. :)
