Making silage

Here are a few pictures of the day we made silage for the cows on our farm.
It was very interesting to see how everything was done.
First after a very nice rain we cut it.



Then we bale it even tough it's still wet.

Then Ryan brought all the bales to the wrapper.

We hired a guy to wrap them for us,that worked really well.

Then after everything was done there was a long row of bales all ready for the cows to eat through the winter.

Here is a short video of Ryan hauling the bales to the wrapper
(he really enjoyed doing that.)seeing they weighed 2500lbs. the tactor was a little back heavy
