Pasta Day at the Penners

Last week we got a BIG batch of pasta mixed. We used 25 pounds of flour and about 7 dozen eggs. After we got that mixed we were busy making it into noodles.

Everyone was kept busy for awhile rolling the dough till it was thin enough with a noodle machine and then the same machine cuts it into noodles as well.

We hung them up to dry for a few days and put them into containers for storing.

This gave us lots of pasta to last us for a year. Handy for any recipes calling for noodles.

It looks like once again you had a good time making noodles! I am sorry that I missed it, maybe next year!
We are looking forward to tonight!!
